Car and Quilt Show- Aug. 4, 2006, 6th-annual

On August 4, 2006 The Briarwood will celebrate age and beauty at it’s 6th-annual Car and Quilt Show. On display will be more than Classic, Antique, and Custom cars and more than 30 homemade quilts. 50/50 drawing, Awards Plaques, Food, music and not admission fee, means fun for everyone. For those of you who enjoy stepping into the past, The Briarwood Retirement Community in Stow, Ohio is the place to be.
Classic cars and street rods participate in the show and are on display for all to enjoy. The cars are positioned so that you can easily pas between them and get a good look at the pristine condition in which the cars are kept.
The Community is welcome; there is not admission fee. Meet the car owners and learn the history of the prized automobiles. The quilts will be hung inside The Briarwood. Most quilts often contain a story of it’s creation that begins a legacy of how it came to the current holder.
Passing motorist often stop to take a look- perhaps reliving the memory of their first care of the car they remember from their “growing up” years. Along with being able to view the classics on display, attendees can vote for their favorite car or quilt. “Viewers Choice” is the most sought after award of the event.
Along with the cars and quilts, you will be able to enjoy food, ice cream and more!
The Classic Car and Quilt Show will take place August 4, 2006 from 5:00 to 8:00 pm. The Briarwood 3700 Englewood Dr, Stow, Ohio. Come and enjoy all of the fun and take a trip to the “olden’ days”.
