So who won the LCS raffle car?
I think the raffle was yesterday. Did a Club Cobra member win it?

Yes, Jim Harding, who is a truly deserving and great guy.
What is more amazing is that Jim already owns this 1984 Unique which already qualified as a "historic vehicle" in most states.

Thanks again to the Ohio Cobra Club members for making last Saturday night the most exciting and memorable in my life. I'm still floating about 10 feet off the ground.
I have a question, what was the winning number that was drawn. Of the five tickets I bought, I want to preserve the winner and include it with all the information I can gather on the tribute car to Gail Cox.
Jim

Jim it was great to hear your name pulled! Being the owner of only 1 of 3 Uniques like mine that I have ever seen, I have always fealt a sort of kinship! Enjoy that car... I know you will
I am not sure what number was pulled. I am sure one of us does! Next time you talk to Bill, ask him.

Winning Ticket Number
Hi Jim,
Your winning ticket number was 6916. I have the stub Emily pulled out. I am not sure if we need to keep it for our records or if you may have it. If we don't need it I will mail it to you so you will have both halves.
Congrats Again,
Brian Freer

Hi Brian,
That's unbelievable.... Whom ever it was that sold me the tickets Thursday night at the hotels, had 4 tickets in his hand that had sequential numbers. To pick the fifth one, he flipped the stack of tickets in his hand and told me to pick one out, which I did. He said, "that one is the lucky one." And that one was 6916!
That would be great if you don't need the ticket. All I really wanted to know was the number so I could hang on to the "lucky" one, but both halves would be a bonus.
Thanks
- Jim -
PS - My handwriting wasn't in the best penmanship, so there may be a problem understanding my address on the ticket. If that is the case, we can take this off forum and get it straightened out. LMK

Rob,
If that's the same one that is linked to 'you-tube' I've seen it and have been trying to find a way to download it... to no avail. That would be fantastic if you could burn me a copy. Like I said in my earlier post, I'd like to preserve as much information about this tribute car to Gail. It would be a shame for its story to be lost by time. It's a one-of-a-kind that deserves such attention.
Thanks,
- Jim -
