COB = UK Cars (not quite the same area as Britain btw !)
COX = LH drive exports for europe and non-US markets.
No other details on the numbering system given in the book as far as i can see.

A little off the subject but... educate me;
England is part of Great Britian.
"Britian" is not the same as the United Kingdom?
Great Britian and "Britian" ARE the same though, right?
