Paul,
these are the original Lucas Numbers printed on the Lucas boxes.
Mickmates switch is actually on Ebay UK:

Yes, I've been in touch with AES this afternoon. As it happens, they are only a few miles from me.
Can you confirm that this switch will work with the self-park switch in the wiper motor?
Thanks,
Paul

I have no knowledge about the internal functions of the 39156, i allways try to build "budget", therefore i came after the P6 switches.
Just ask the seller if the switch will work with your wiper motor.
Greetings from Germany, Uwe

I am looking for the lucas rotary switch that works with the lucas 14w motor. If a lucas switch with the push button for the squirters works, I will use that one.
Uwe, you provided two part numbers, are they both the same switch with different numbers?
Also, any ideas on the fresh air knob and cable?
Thanks, Martin

Kirkham should be able to supply those as they fit them to their cars as standard now.

Martin,
the push function is realised by a additional push kontact switch(like old cord switches on household lamps) and screwed in from befind into the Wiper switch. So the push funktion itself is a "add on".
I will check if both of my partnumbers have the same internal circuits.
For the footbox ventilation i thought about "lookalike" hardware with dummy cable visible in the engine bay but having small blower motors inside the venting tubes to increase airflow. These motors are switched on by a pull style alfa romeo switch. The fluted standard knob for the wiper, engraved by a friend with "Push" or "Pull", fits on the hex shaft of the alfa switch.
It will look old with modern internals,
For the "Pull Switch" see the pics in the middle of the page here in my Cobra built up report in the geman forum:
