Wiper blade direction / orientation

As they say, it's all in the details.

I've seen several photos and would like to know if anyone has knowledge on how the wiper blades came on the early cars? Since the original AC cars were right hand drive I see many wiper orientations favoring that side. When Carroll started importing cars for delivery, did those cars maintain that orientation despite being converted to left hand drive? And/or when did all the cars start sporting left hand drive wiper orientation? Last question: Were street cars different from the S/C versions, or was it a CSX2xxx vs. CSX3xxx changeover?

I searched several historical posts but could not find an answer on this topic.
