The correct grease guns often come up on e-bay.
I wonder if Cobra #3170 could post some pics of the grease gun clips. From the pics on the AC wners forum , which did not have good close-ups of the clips, the clips look like the broomhandle clips you can get at the hardware store.
I just posted some pictures of my grease gun, it has never been used so it is what was delivered in my car. I screwed up posting pictures, did not get them together but you will see the grease gun and mount shots. The two clips are 3.0 " apart center to center with two pop rivets per clip the center line of the clips is 3.25 " above the trunk floor and the center line of the rearward clip is 4.75 " from the inside surface of the fender inboard of the trunk opening.
I hope this helps, my grease gun has the line on the applicator has described in the Cobra forum.

Perfect. That's exactly what I was looking for. Thank you!

I have an SC model, not a street version. Question: Did the SCs come with the grease gun, jack, toolkit, etc.?

I don't know because the big tank trunk is so different than a street car, I am pretty sure they had the spare tire with the car but don't remember the jack, handle, or grease gun. The first SC in Fresno was owned by George Harm and I think was delivered in the spring of 1966. This car was purchased by Dick Smith some time later. I actually went over to see it but don't remember the trunk area. SC's did not even have a heater or defroster so it is hard to believe that they would get a tool kit, grease gun, and jack. They did not even have a rear sway bar as delivered, at least this one did not which surprised me.
