Has anyone given thought to the fact that limited high-temp adhesives in the '60's and early '70's, combined with high temp engine compartments and considerable rattling/shaking of the cobra chassis, may have resulted in many "factory applied" badges to simply come off on their own? Silicone adhesives were available then, but not at the performance levels that are available today (unless you had connections with the aerospace industry, which was entirely possible for Carroll in '60's era El Segundo/Torrance, CA).

I'll try to find some time, going thru Chemo right now, tomorrow a Cat scan, heart Dr., Ear,Nose, and Throat, Cancer dr. and installation of a new stomach feeding tube all next week.

Very busy with health issues, reason I didn't take the time to post, will try.

Wow.
That sure puts things in perspective.
My thoughts are with you. Good luck.
