Cobra Make, Engine: Sold my beloved Shelby CSX 4068, Gessford 427 Ford

427 emblems on chrome pent roofs

On most of the Cobras we build now, the owners glue a 427 fender emblem on the valve covers when they use chrome pent roofs. I don't believe that the engines came from Ford this way. Did Shelby American equip new 427 cars with these emblems?
