"Look at enough old publications and you'll see most of the team cars with a long loop pad lock on the fuel caps at some time or another." Was that to stop the pesky Chevvy boys from sabotaging the gas, Dan ?/
Joking aside, this is the first reference to that, that I`ve heard, but have seen what I think Dan is referring to on a coupe. Difficult to be sure but one can just make out the loop of the lock. Any references or pics? as I find this sort of thing intriguing.
