I have yet to see an original shifter bezel that has the FoMoCo stamp on it in a visible spot when mounted:
1) it wouldn't be cosmetically unacceptable
2) during the chroming process it would be hard to get a part that was uniform in appearance
3) I do know a person that used to stamp his own reproduction bezels, why I have no idea
