Default Throttle Linkage on 427 Comp and SC

Does anyone know the correct color of the various pieces of the throttle linkage between the pivot point on top of the footbox.......and to the last rod that connects to the rear carb?

Mine have all been chrome from early on and I don't know if this would be period correct.

Thanks,
David

The Fafnir rod ends were clear or what is considered silver cadmium plated.
