Dan, if this is the only thing you know in such detail about Cobras, I am already impressed! :-)
If the thread was planted by a mate of yours so that you can show off, I say it's a slick move - lol ;-)

Serious: This is some very detailed knowledge. Thank you :-) Not that I ever need to know, but info like this makes me return to this forum.

Dominik,

There are very few people more knowledgeable than Dan regarding cobras on this forum. He is a great fund of information and is very willing to share his knowledge. A high quality person.

Dominic the only thing that joins most of the people on this forum is a love of the Mark.

An update........
I have taken some more photos, now that I have cleaned up the rear side
the three clips are still in place - although they appear to have been removed, and caused some minor damage to the rear which appears to be quite usual from picture of original cobras.
this can be shown by illuminating the rear side.

hopefully this adds to the possibility of it being a 1960s part ??

Based on the reverse side image I believe it is an old AC Cars supplied part and appears to be in decent condition. Rare find.

May I add your image of the reverse side to my files?

Dan
No problem - help yourself - if you need a higher resolution picture please send me a PM.

I received a post from the seller stating that he believed it from a Cobra but was not not able to give any more detail...

Steve
