Default Need info on original S/C radiator hoses

I'm doing my best to have a "reasonably authentic" 427 s/c build starting with a Factory Five. My question: in the original S/C cars were the radiator hoses rubber (smooth or convoluted flexible) or mandrel bent aluminum? I have looked at some pics of what appear to be original cars and I think the aluminum (or aluminized) are correct. Then 3-4" rubber couplers. Am I correct here? For both upper and lower hoses?
My routing will be custom of course to fit my FE with Ron Davis radiator. But I would like to use the correct material to advance the correct 'look'.
Many thanks for your responses
Best
Ron

Ron, here's a picture of CSX3278 (recent barnfind)

All of the (many) other under-hood pictures (except one) showed the same configuration as 3278

Cheers,
Glen

Yes I am on ffcars. My screen name is Picah and my build log thread is titled reasonably authentic 427s/c
Take a look and PM me with any questions and I’ll try to help

The lower hose is plated steel with smooth rubber couplings at each end just like the upper it is longer and more complex because of routing through frame to radiator. Other hoses shown are bogus.
