Steering wheel height for 289 Cobra roadsters (ie street dash)

I'm trying to work out whether I should lower my steering wheel so that I can see a little more of my speedometer and tachometer.
My steering wheel is a Moto-Lita split centre wheel (as OEM).

On an original car, how much can typically be seen of these two instruments. Yes I know, depends on your height plus other factors ....but any comments are welcomed
