A-arm attaching brackets

Does anyone know if the brackets welded to the main tubes that the A-arms attach to on early Cobras are the same in the rear and front? I am working on an Ace which is supposed to have the same suspension mounting pieces as the early Cobras and may need to replace one of the front brackets. I have a spare labelled "rear" and it looks the same, but don't want to weld it on and find out later it is slightly different than what I need.
