Just got word from some friends that CSX3021 just sold for 3 million dollars (plus 8% fees) at auction.
That makes it the third highest selling Shelby Cobra to date, next to CSX3015 (the SuperSnake) that sold for 5 million, and one of the 6 Daytona Coupes (the ex- Phil Spector car) that sold for 4 million a few years back.
CSX3021 was one of the most original, unmolested 427 S/Cs in existance, also one of only two cars painted Hertz Gold.
