Default Original footboxes

Does anyone know of a good source for original style footboxes? By original style I mean fiberglass and mounts in the original way. Also, if there is a footbox that meets the above criteria, but was a little longer to add some extra leg room, that would be even better.
Thanks,
Jay

For a 289 or a 427? They are slightly different.

I know that Cobra restorers offers them, as well as Tim Gunning with Sagebrush roadsters. I believe that Roger Bollick may also offer the footboxes for the 427 style.

Of course, you can also purchase them from Kirkham or Shelby if you can afford them....

289 versions and based on 2 past experiences with Cobra Restorers, I will not risk my money in that direction again. Haven't heard of Tim Gunning before so I'll have to Google him and Sagebrush roadsters.

Jay
Here's Tims website: http://sagebrushroadsters.com/index.html
The last time I talked to him, he said he was going to have a new site up soon, however I haven't seen anything new yet.
You can try emailing him through the site but I never could get a hold of him that way either.
Tim is a super nice guy, just hard to get a hold of sometimes. I drove up to his place and talked to him early December. It's only a little over an hour from Tucson. It was the best way to talk to him.

Can you tell me a bit more about this "Cobra Restorers" company? I'm going to look at a kit made with a "Cobra Restorers" 427 body, did not know they make a 289 model. The 289 model is what I want, if they make one I'd be very interested.

TIA for whatever info you can provide.

[Edit: My mistake, Cobra Auto Works, not Cobra Restorers. I did manage to talk to Tim, though, nice chap and very helpful.]

I found Tim to be a straight shooter and a first class guy. Just my opinion of course but I think he'd give you the shirt of his back if he could help.

I agree with Larry, Tim would give the shirt off his back to help someone.

I'm going to guess that there is more to this story than you've posted.
It's none of my business but would you like me to ask him about something?
