Oil cooler scoop on 427 street cars.

I asked this question on the All Cobra site and I'm not getting any hits on it so I guess this would be a more appropriate site.

Did all 427 street cars have the intake below the grill for the oil cooler. If not was it a random thing? Omitted on later cars?

The oil cooler opening was on most street cars.
It was dropped from the sheet metal design, I believe, in the last "batch of cars" starting with CSX3300.
