Just picked up a C5AE-G SIDEOILER BLOCK . Comp car ? It needs some love . Are the early blocks are whorth what the guys get for a new ponds/genisis ? Any thoughts?

Post more details. "Need's some love" is a pretty general statement. What's the bore size, damage, repairs, any sleeves, need sleeves? etc.... and the date code off the block.

The date code would be very helpful. I have one of these blocks as well. Any "HM" stampings anywhere on the block?
