Made the trip out to Pittsburgh for the VGP at Schenley yesterday. Started out from home around 7:00am and arrived at the hallowed golf course grounds about 9:30am after encountering a bit of precipitation along the PA Turnpike. I navigated my way over to the Shelby Spotlight area and recognized a few cars from Fran Kress' stable under an adjoining marqee tent. Not long after arriving, accomodating the "official PVGP Photographer" and shaking a few hands, we were all off to queue for the mid-day course parade lap. I borrowed a friend's Go-Pro for that one, so as soon as I process that file and get it hosted, I'll post a link. The weather for the day was humid and largely overcast, but less warm than the previous day (Saturday) so I was told. Still, I think I ended up drinking about 1gal of water..
