I know this is probably a stupid question, but what is the "broomstick test"?

Take a broomstick (any flat piece of wood), lay it atop your roll bar and atop your front windshield while you sit in the drivers seat with your helmet on. To pass the "Broomstick Test", your helmeted head must be able to pass underneath the broomstick without touching.

Mark, always wondered why on the broomstick test. The windshield on the roadster are not structural members as we all know. To me, the important thing is to make sure the driver knows how to belt themselves in to the seat. That way, their helmet/head stays close to the roll bar where the protection is. For those of you with a Superformance, be prepared to take out the seat cushion or have a race seat to 'pass' the broomstick test.
