First the
427 4V TUNNEL PORT INTAKE
This is NOS. The documentation I got with it when I bought it said the following.
"This is a Ford part . Not an after market number.C8AX-9424-B
Brand New in the box ( I must have the box here or got thrown out) 427 TP single intake manifold. VERY RARE. You may have seen dual quad Tunnel Port manifolds but not too many single 4V. This is real and to verify that, you can see the pictures . The “buddy Bar” casting on the underside. This carries the part number C8AX-9424-B
This has not been cut and welded or drilled with nitrous or modified in any way."

It is my understanding ALL C8AX-9424-B intakes were stamped Buddy Bar. Page 62 of Pat Ganahl s FORD Performance book says the following. "A); or a single-plane, single four-barrel (C8AX-9424-B) manifold. This latter two manifolds are strictly swap meet items these days and are usually expensive ."

Vintage FORD Muscle Part Catalog says the following about this same Intake on page 65 "4V-The 427 tunnel port uses our biggest breathing 4-holer MANIFOLD C8AX-9424-B. Its single plane, lightweight aluminum design makes it ideal for high RPM performance. Port sizes blend from a nearly round 2.05 to a 2.20 diameter, providing more area than similarly dimensioned rectangular ports. Areas between runners have been cast solid to eliminate need for valley cover. This tunnel port setup uses the Holley 4-bbl-CARBURATOR C5AF-9510-BU rated at 780 cfm "
