Looking for new or used 282HR Comp Cam

Hi...I'm lookinf for a new or like new 282HR Comp Cam for my 351 Stroker motor. Anybody know where I can get the best discount price new or a good used one would be appreciated?

I'd buy a new cam...if you spend all that money on an engine...I wouldn't skimp there....

You can find them really cheap at Jegs or Summit Racing. I usually go to Comp Cam's website, find the cam I want, get the grind #, and just do a manufacturer's part search on Summit Racing's website....it will tell you the price and allow you to order one.

thanks blykins for the advise. Your probably right! This cam list for 294.00 at Comp Cams. I will try Summit or Jegs and get a price from them. I did have a friend that just bought a new 282HR cam from an individual for 150.00. I guess I don't want hin to show me up.

Well, finding a brand new one that's still in the box is one thing...but that's one component I just wouldn't buy used....just don't have a good feeling about it.

Usually Comp Cams is around $30-50 higher than like Jegs or Summit.
