Where can I find wheels like these in 17 inch?????
Hi,
I am finally trying to finish my four year project, and hope to have it on the road for this spring '04. I am thinking of going with Halibrands but also like the look of these wheels on the Cobra in this link. Does anyone know where I can find these???
JJBroc
Okay that didn't work the file was too big to send. The wheels are very similar to the "grizzly" wheels that where available on Jeep Wranglers in '97, they look like a five star. Hard to explain I'll have to try to find another pic.

Try posting the pic in your gallery, it's not size limited like a post.

Wheels
Hey;
I am assuming you looked on Ebay, Try wheels.net. I go some hard to find ones there a couple of years ago.

I've been looking everywhere, I will have to try to get a picture up for you to see. Unfortunately I am computer illiterate.

I used TeamIII 17" ers. 8" wide front, 9 1/2" wide rear. At the nearly 3 year mark now, they still look good and work well. And they cost $300 apiece.

Thanks again, I am looking into the Team III wheels it is a toss up at this point. The second choice is pictured on the Cobra CT replica on the www.shellvalley.com web site, the last cobra on the bottom of the home page copper/orange in color, has the wheels I am looking for. Actually I'm looking at the ad beneath this, for Rich's Classic Transport and Shell Valley.

The wheels on the car in the Shell Valley ad are actually American Racing Torq-Thrust II wheels. They also have the Torq-Thrust D wheels Which have the grey centers.

Thanks a ton, I am glad I found this web site. Now I am going to do the cost comparison, it may have an impact on my decision.

PS Engineering makes a wheel similar to the Cragers. You can get the 17in as wide as 12 inches. Give Phil a call at (310)534-4477.
