I did the serpentine converstion. It was worth it.
However, I used Ford parts. First, I could not spend what March wanted for a simple setup and they had idlers and new brackets, both I did not want to add.
My cost was under a $100 and I used a lathe and mill to convert the Ford parts.
You may want to look into this, it makes a very neat and clean converstion. Once the pieces all fit and are working, have them powder coated.
