Default "SEMA" bill passes in TN

Looks like the TN. Senate and House passed the bill that would enable owners to title their custom car as the year, make, etc as it most resembles.

http://www.legislature.state.tn.us/b...lnumber=SB2729

Still has to be signed off by the Governor, so don't know when it will take effect....

It looks like I am being transferred to Fort Campbell, KY in late June/early July and I was considering living in Tennessee, due to the fact there is no state income tax there. My car is currently titled and registered in Texas as an assembled vehicle (2007) as a replica of a 1965. Now I am wondering and worrying about being able to register my BDR in TN. What is the law now, and how will this bill affect it?

Same as in Virginia. A nice arrangement.

Can SEMA wake up the crooks in trenton NJ? They can sit around all day looking for ways to line their pockets while the state in on the verge of financial ruin. They can find the time to pass a law banning the sale of goose liver, but can't be bothered with reversing the ruling on kit cars or remanufactured vehicles being registered in the year they were built. Which does not allow them to qualify for historic vehicle plates. SEMA please help!!!
