Default 'Branded' Title?

When titling a roadster, does the state typically list the car as having a 'branded title'? I am considering purchasing a very nice, ready-build roadster but would need to finance some of the asking price. Some the of finance companies will not lend money if the car has a 'branded title'.

Any thoughts on this?

Possibly an exception code issue with the banks, and sometimes with the insurance co's.
Anything other than a " Standard Clear, Antique, or Classic" title may produce a flag.
Examples of exception codes, reconstructed, rebuilt, theft recovery, flood damage, insurance accident total etc.
Cobras probably won't be allowed into the Street Rod catagory in PA.

The lenders are telling you they will not finance a "BRANDED TITLE". A Branded title if you are not aware is one which will have the words printed on it such as "Salvage", "Lemon Law", "Recovered Theft" or possibly any other phrase used which generally would compromise the value of the vehicle. The vehicle with one of those THAT phrases has had very serious damage to it from collision, fire, or flood.

Occasionally if a car is being financed, certain lenders WILL finance Branded title vehicles if the Loan to Value amount is very conservative.
