Boy...thats more than getting bent over, thats getting a full Sequoia sized reaming with splinters AND a healthy coat of "SuperPollyGrip" for added friction.

Well, now I know.
I bought a boat from a dealer in California, but took possession of the boat in AZ. The boat was not state registered because of displacement but was documented with the Feds. Anyways, the short of it was I had to write a check to the state of Arizona for 20k in taxes that the dealer failed to charge me for. I did not even own the boat anymore (this was 4 years after I bought it) so it hurt even more. California came after me first, and then they reported me to Arizona when they discovered the sale took place there. I now make sure I pay ALL the taxes up front.
