Manufacturers List for 2008 ...to date:

Our Manufacturers Row has really came alive with interest from the manufactures listed below. Without a doubt this is going to be the best Run and Gun ever because not only have we addressed the participants but we have also dedicated considerable time to our spectators and manufacturers. Our spectators will be treated to free seminars during our track events that will be put on by your Run and Gun Staff as well as some of the Manufacturers and Vendors. This year we are going to be offering the same t-shirts our participants receive to our spectators at cost, plus other novelty items, door prizes, and for the first time ever we are having a swap meet and car show. This year is going to BIG so start making your plans to bring your car and your family to this years Run and Gun October 8-11, 2008.

St. Louis is a great location to visit with the family (Gateway Arch, Budweiser Brewery, Six Flags, Historic architecture, and far to many other attractions to mention all of them). We hope if you are wanting to participate in this years Run and Gun Nationals you will get your registration early because we expect to sellout everyone of our spots this year. Early discount registration will open the middle of May 2008 and extend until July 15, 2008. After that any remaining spots will be sold at the full rate.

We hope to have our full syllabus of events available within the next few weeks so you can make your plans for the portions of the event that interest you most. Here are our Manufacturers Row paid participants to date:

I was wondering what the "official record" is? Is it for Cobras or any vehicle? And what is the time?

We had a recorded time of 101 in 2006 by Jerry Fink in a Viking with 600hp! Tony Ran an "unofficial" 104 and I think that is the fastest Replica. Under the new timing rules where all runs are timed, I expect to see some amazing numbers this year. I am looking forward to seeing Morse and his brother race Tony and his team this year. Morse has the fastest official time in a replica of 106.9.

By the way, there are a lot of rule changes for next year so be sure to visit the web site and see how they might effect your cars.

Tony,

I stepped away from all the forums for a few days and I appologize for not getting back to you sooner. It would be Absolutely Fantastic to See an International Driver like yourself put your Backdraft throuh it's paces at Gateway this year. I think you will find things have changed from the last event you were at. I believe with George Andersons help with all his new timing equipment we will be renting this year everyone will be a lot faster with more accurate timing and scoring.

I also think you will like the way we are going to be grouping our drivers acording to their posted times in the morning session on Thursday.

Let me know if there is anything we can do.

I have updated the manufacturers list and as soon as I hear from a few others we can update it again. If you are a manufacturer and are considering a spot on Manufacturers Row you need to act very soon because we are going to have our second round of posters and flyers printed. We want your Logo or brand on our flyers.
