Throttle pedal - used in the 60' 70' on race cars.

Fuel Cell pedestal, over the rear axle.

This is a 15 gal. unit.

Front view of the cell, one side on the top is the vent (roll over locked) other side is the return line.

With a quick disconnect steering wheel the in and out of the Cobra will be much easier.

Slowly it starts looking like a car.

This is how the rear end of the car looks like from the bottom.

During the working hours the 289 is stored on top of the pallet rack - it actually occupies only one space.
I'm very fortunate to have a work place like that. Hard work and dedication will be rewarded, I can testify to that.

Got this one off Ebay, for $102 shipped. By the time I buy the AN6 fittings, the roll over valve and the aluminum - it would be around $50, it did not make much sense to me.

Steering continued.
Upper knuckle welded to the 3/4" shaft.

Lower knuckle welded, also to see here the FF5 adapter for the 99-04 PS Rack. If you buy DD/0.75" round knuckles and just round rod you save close to $100. The DD/DD knuckles and DD-shafts are that much more.

Shallow angles makes the steering smooth. I do not understand why other builders put manual steering racks and wide tires on their cars. It is just a pain to drive.
Besides that my wife can enjoy the heck out of it...
