Were you able to make your trunk lid out of one piece of aluminum or is there a weld? Either way it looks incredible. Adding the license plate feature is a bit tricky.
It's internet magic, the trunk lid on this one is one piece. The other car we are building is a two piece skin.

I had a little bit of time today to start working on the hood for this 427 build,
I started with the rear section of flashing. Unfortunately I ran out of rivets so that killed today's progress on this deal.

I was able to get back on this hood panel for our 427 build the last couple of days.
First I finished up the flashing, then trimmed the flashing to fit the hood opening.

Then I placed the hood frame onto the underside of the hood skin and marked the cut line, then cut the skin, cleaned up the edges and started the process of folding over the edge of the skin to fix it to the frame flashing.
Lots of clamps, and lots of hammer work.
