Thanks, hopefully over the next couple of weeks we will have something that looks more like a complete body.

One more thing on Kevin's hit list was to do something with the clutch fork window on his QuickTime bell housing.
Looks like the fork position was move up for main frame rail clearance, this left a rather large opening.
I did check the fork to frame rail clearance when we setup the engine and trans, all looked good.
The red lines represent the opening that was there before adding material to close the window up.

Next up, check fitment to engine for center, then off to powder coating to look all pretty

Jeff, by previous guy do you mean the one that made it possible for you to use your car for your wedding? If I remember your suspension was falling out and the "previous guy" put it together last minute so you could use it for your wedding!!

Pat respectfully your info is wrong.
He did get brakes sealed. Kudos on that.
Suspension was not the issue, he had nothing to do with getting anything together.
We can start a thread if you like just not in Kevins thread thanks.

I'm fine with this thread, if your going to use it to bash the "previous guy" every chance you get I'm going to start defending him every chance. Your the one that said in this thread that "everyone in NH DONE WITH HIM", guess what you don't speak for everyone in NH.

Are you guys bringing up that crapton guy who screwed people like $2.00 bar flies? I'd leave that clown out of it.

OK Pat, to be fair, only 99% of the people in NH who have been screwed by him are done. Sooner or later he will screw you to and you will also be done with him. Just go to the beginning of this very thread and his horrendous fabrication skills speak for themselves.

I wish I would have pulled out of his shop a lot sooner than I did. Had I brought my car to Craig earlier, I would probably be driving it right now and would have a lot more money in my bank account. He shouldn't be allowed to work on lawn mowers but if he did, he would charge you $100 an hour to make it worse. I would be happy to post copies of his invoices for hundreds, make that thousands of dollars, to build my door frames which ended up in the trash they were so bad. Unfortunately for me, that was only the tip of the iceberg...

Kevin, I have followed this post from the beginning and long before that since I personally met you and had lunch with you while he was working on your car and you had nothing but praise at the time and if anyone took the time (like I did) you would find post from both you and Jeff offering nothing but praise for his work! Club Cobra is listed as "the largest non-biased Cobra web-site" it's not certain people's personal facebook. Others have asked earlier in this thread to move on and continue with the positive and obviously Jeff feels above that and takes a shot every chance he gets and that's wrong. While I've posted very rarely I'm on Club Cobra several times a day and have been for many years, and I know both people involved, and Jeff I do have my facts straight and I believe I have photos of the suspension when it was on his lift being fixed!

Hi Pat,

To be clear, I have no issue with you and for a long time I thought Nick was treating me right. He was not and frankly I did not know any better. Shame on me for not recognizing that he was doing shoddy work (and that is a compliment) while charging me top dollar for it. I really don't know how he sleeps at night, but at this point, I am trying to move forward and get this build done so that I will finally have the car that I have been dreaming about since I was a kid.

I'm a bit confused as to why when a reference is made to a well known, well documented, thief and liar, a member with 11 posts in almost as many years finds it necessary to try and defend crapton? Is it that he has been screwed just as bad and doesn't want anybody to find out? Maybe he's his little butt buddy and it hurts his feelings? I guess even the losers need a cheerleader.

Kevin thanks, and I have no issue with you, and I'm happy your project is moving forward. Like I said earlier other people have asked to keep this post positive and about the future and for Jeff to constantly keep taking shots is as childish as REDMT's last post.

1100 post like this and you think you should be taking serious, Club Cobra should be putting a stop to you so serious Cobra people can enjoy the resource.

No bunky! Childish is you posting up a rebuttal to anything derogatory that is said about your little thieving buddy. It's OK with me.

Wow. I go away for 14-years and crap is still being flung around...

Regarding the Hi-Tech - Congratulations on the build - you will enjoy the car. I still remember watching the Hi-Tech (Scott?) running at Road America years ago..
