Next I finished the trunk off, installed the trunk lid seal and the trunk lid itself.

It's really looking like a finished car. Not too much longer now.

We are definitely getting closer to finishing this one up.
All the small things that are needed to make a complete running car are very time consuming.

A couple more progress pictures, lower stainless steel radiator tube installed.
Started making up the throttle linkage.

Thanks Bob.

Made up a couple more items for this build, battery tray and leather cover for the park brake handle.
Off to the powder coaters!

Next up is mounting the seats on the very nice seat tracks supplied by Armrer, the adjuster knobs are originals Kevin has collected.

Passenger seat with the leveroll adjuster knob.

Drivers seat is the racing type, should help the driver stay put.

Drilling more holes!!

Hey Jeff
That is the plan if all goes well.
Kevin has his new trailer all set, I just need to complete my part.
I think having SAAC as the cars first outing is cool.

Oil puke tank in.

What a fantastic build!

Was that the period correct color for the horns or just a primer before paint?

Cheers
Greg

Thanks, it's coming together very nicely.

Above picture is primer, as far as I know the horns are painted black.

This is the final finish.

Craig's attention to detail, fabrication skills, cobra knowledge and commitment to go above and beyond are amazing. If I were to ever want another car built for me, there is absolutely no question that I would be calling Craig again.
