does this look right to you?
[IMG] [/IMG]Well here we go, have a good bit of parts together to finaly get a base line, may have a problem. Frame prints put the dash/body support at 30.5" from bottom of the frame, that puts the rocker panel edge at approx. 5'' above the lowest point on the frame. Is that normal? And question two are the lower front A-arms horizontal at ride height or above/below. Check out gallery for more pics tell me how this looks to you?

It seems like a lot of the frame is showing. You going to use sidepipes?

Hey Patrick, check out http://www.erareplicas.com/427/profiles/index.htm
You'll see a lot more frame sticking out and covered/distracted from etc by side pipes. I'll see if I can find some street car profiles (like my avatar) that you can compare to. The lower a-arms should start level. Looking awesome in arrest me red! Keep up the good work.

Ya, I think it is still sitting a bit high @29" but I don't want to lose cockpit space. I'm not a large man(really rather small) but with the interior I have planned for this car space is vital. Sidepipes, ya will have to go that route, trying to keep as much heat out of the car as possible. Thanks for the link had seen it before forgot were it was. hope to get started with the fun stuff(cutting, welding, pulling out hair) in the next couple of weeks. Other projects and just plain busy stuff winding down. Getting a lot of head scratching out of the way early, hope it helps the build go smoother, Pat

Hey Patrick, what size tires are those? Which engine and tranny are you going to run?

Well, tires Front 255x45x17 on 17x9" rims Rear 275x40x17 on 17x10.5"rims. they realy look mean in person pics dont do them justice. Engine/Trans well haven't secured that yet but am leaning toward basic 302 shake down motor. Then building a 331/347 at a later date. manual all the way.
