New addition to the Scratch Builders
First post on CC,
My FFR body was just delivered yesterday morning, so I figured now is a good time to start asking questions.
A little backround about my project:
I am going to school for Automotive Engineering, and this summer I am staying down at school to begin this project. I am building this cobra as a platform for my senior project motor build which will be completed in about 2 yrs. I figured this would be a good time to start the build so I can take my time on the car knowing that it won't need to be completed for 2+ yrs.
The only parts I have at this time are:
A FFR MK3 shell, and a ford 9".
I plan to construct frame rails out of 2X3 tubing.
I am in need of opinions/experiences when it comes to the suspension setups.
My plan as of right now is to purchase 2" dropped MII spindles and fabricate the control arms, seeing as how I work at the University's machine-shop, and have the resources.
Are there other popular alternatives to the MII front suspension?
My vision of a rear suspentsion consists of a four-link and a Panhand bar or Watt's Link.
Any and all input/ideas is greatly appreciated!
Thanks,
Tadd
