Default Track width question

I am in the process of deciding what to do with the front suspension.
I plan on using these
HTML Code:
http://parts.factoryfive.com/wheels/14398.htm
wheels, and 245/45 R17 tires. The wheels are 17X9 with 6" backspacing.
From what I have gathered, the width at the front fenders is 66.5".
These wheels are supposed to fit the FFR MK3 standard front suspensions. From what I have gathered, the width of the body at the front fenders is 66.5". What are the most common wheel-mounting-surface to wheel-mounting-surface
dimensions? Anyone know what the FFR kit runs for hub to hub?
My calculations (62") seem too wide to me.
Thanks for the help-

check on ffcobra.com . Lots of guys over there that will be glad to help you out. However, since you are building a chassis from scratch, why not build it to pin drive width so you can put some deeper dish wheels on it?
Or, you can reverse engineer it like lots of the scratch builders do. Get your tires and wheels and set them under the body where you want them and start measuring your required face to face measurements.

turbo, I'm running almost the same setup your looking at for tires and rims. right now front flange to flange is 57 3/8". It may need some slight tweeking but she's real close.Pat

I have a Factory 5 FIA car in my garage now and the rear flange to flange width is 54 1/4". This is the so called "pin drive" width. I'll check the front later today and get back to you.

Thanks for the info guys!
I am on a collage student buget, so purchasing wheels and tires is out of the question at this point in time. I would rather build too narrow than too wide because it's a lot easier to put some spacers on than get custom-offset wheels.
Thanks Again-
