Hey man...

That is quite impressive. You have been quite the busy beaver.

I really think your photo record is a great idea... not to mention it gives me a guide to go by....

Hey, thanks guys.... I have been chipping away for 16 months, lack of funds has held me up a bit.

Hey John, thanks, wanna buy it? Or swap for your comp car? 427FE should be assembled and ready to install in a week or two. All I need is a set of headers and it will be ready to fire.

Regards, Karl

Well funny you should mention it...

I promise not to hijack the thread but let's just say that there has been some progress in the comp car department.

As usual I have been adding bits and pieces to the garage shelves but I also have been getting help with a leaf-spring chassis. Should all the planets align I might even be able to roll it around...

I still fire the engine now and then to get a sense of the finished project... well at least when my eyes are closed.

Karl,

GREAT job!
After viewing Mickmates progress I must say that scratch builders are a breed of their own. I hand it to you and Nick for taking on such a project.

Drop a line when your up this way, my tires are finally on the ground so maybe we could scoot up to Nick's in the CCX and keep him motivated.

Jeff

Hey Joey, No the body is not a Kirkham. I'm not sure where it came from except I found it in Bakersfield, CA and before that it was in Ft. Washington, PA.

Hello Jeff, Thanks. Did you see the photos from Patrick & Alfy? There is excellent work from some of the CC scratch builders.

I will be up on the 14th to help Nick with the roof on his new shop and then the 15th & 16th I will be in Epping, NH at Sig Arms Acd. for the shooting seminar. I will email more details.
Regards, Karl
