Default Lokar 7016 eBrake handle?

Has anyone used the Lokar EHB-7016 parking brake handle in their build? I have a 7000f with an IRS setup (93 SuperCoupe) and can't get enough force applied to the calipers to make it function well. A thought is to convert to a longer handle to get more ummph.

Spoke to Lokar and the hole spacing is different (7016 = 3", 7000F - 4 11/16") but the arc travel is similar.

To those who are unaware, the late model Ford brake actuates the eBrake caliper by sliding the housing on the cable - kind of BassAckwards. Takes a fare amount of travel and force to actuate.

Am I alone in my quest? surely someone else has been down this road?

thanks

Paul

Yep, I've got the same setup. Takes a real yank to lock the wheels.

Some guys fabricate a new lower lever to amplify the force. I just live with it and be careful.

I never park on a hill and even put a brick under the wheel while warming the car in the driveway without me in it. (slight downhill slope)

Always park in gear too!
