Carroll Shelby passes away

A true American icon. Given his health issues and all, having made it as long and as well as he did is to be celebrated. Love him or not, he gave us and the automotive world the richness of his legacy and career. We are all the better for it. Rest in peace Carroll. You will be remembered and missed.

We are all better for it and may he rest in peace knowing that he left behind his mark on the world around him.

We delivered over 200 cars to Shelby--two of them to Carroll personally. We even delivered two a couple of days ago to Vegas. We spoke with Carroll many times and made many deals over the years. He will be missed. Sincere condolences to his family.

I don't feel sadness, but rather reflective of a man who pursued his dreams. Few on Earth will ever get to experience what Shelby did. He was both loved and hated, but in the end I don't think that matters. What will survive is an impressive string of actions that held us in total amazement. His actions have brought countless individuals together that otherwise may have never crossed paths. These friendships are bonded by passions that Shelby planted. Just that one fact tells me that he was a great man.

I'm personally grateful that I am able to live a part of my dream, because of his dream!

Shelby's life was a life well lived. Keep driving man, keep driving!

We will all miss Carroll Shelby. He was and is a true legend.

I am paraphrasing a quote but I think he said "Every day on the green side of the grass is a gift (from God)."

Mr. Shelby lived a full life nearly every day. Rest in peace, you will be missed.
