CSX experts,
I was looking at Hemmings and noticed this CSX4xxx.

Look at the fiberglass around the cowl and rear bulkhead. Notice the lip.
What gives?
Is this indicative of a certain CSX supplier?

Just wondering.

Wow! That looks weird! You'd think they'd at least smooth the lip before sending it for paint. I'd seen another 'glass CSX with weird attributes around the dash, and it looked repairable but it, too, had already been painted.

You know, it may be the builder. Even my ERA cowl had to be shaped by my painter as I purchased it in raw fiberglass. Somebody may have been cutting some corners.
