According to Ned the sale might've fallen through at the Worldwide Auctioneers event in Houston, which might explain why it's being offered again so soon. Either that or someone is looking to make some $$s on a quick flip.

Online catalog entry HERE: Russo and Steele - Collector Automobile Auctions
The car, while marked as sold at the previous auction was actually won by a "shill" bid. No transfer of ownership occurred at that auction. Car is now being offered up for sale (again) in hopes of finding a real bidder this time around.

Bill S.

PS: Rumor had it that real bidding stopped around the $800K mark last time

Oh, Bill, you're making that up! NOTHING like a "shill bid" EVER happens at auctions! And of course now the "value" has been established at $950K so it MUST be worth more now, right?

Heck, if the Mafia did half the stuff auction companies do, they would be shut down in no time!

And how about $500K for the 2014 Mustang "Shelby GT500 convert" at BJ Reno? I LOVE the ring guys doing the "Hey, you're on TV!!! You don't want your friends to think your weiner is small, bid more!!!!"

Did they actually say that on live TV? I caught the last few cars and I guess this one was the highest price paid at this auction. I spent my time on the Auctions of America and made a few purchases.
