We would have to turn to the true experts on that question. I have seen many originals up close and don't remember any of them looking like that!

Yes, but were those originals "restored?" I'm sure if you dropped that car off at McC's, along with a blank check, it would come back with the wiring looking pristine....

Well, here is a pic of Anthony Boosalis' 3.0.2.6 engine bay and I'm pretty sure not much has been touched on his car. He dirives if everywhere too!

Well what do you suppose caused that snake's nest of wires? My ERA doesn't even have that many wires under the dash, much less on the engine side.

All I can think of is that along it's life of several conversion mods and repaint that someone got in over their head. Especially if the body was pulled for the paint....that can be a can of worms!
