Engine removal on a CSX - enough clearance to leave tranny in?

Hey Doug, to follow up on Dwight's post I've removed the engine/trans a few times but never as one unit. Someone else may have done so but IMO, there's a little more risk of something going wrong so I just take my time....call it whatever but it's my risk mitigation plan!

Thanks to my not so brilliant engine builder who originally built my SO, I've had the pleasure of pulling my engine last year (first pic). Thanks to Dwight's help this weekend, I was able to get my new and improved engine (second pic) back from a very competent engine builder so now I'm in the process of getting the car back on the road. Since some of this is still very fresh in my mind, I should be able to help out if you have any more questions.
