Unless they have changed, Hi-Tech has always used automotive Paint for their chassis, not powdercoat. Originally they used Imron, but probably changed along with the brand changes made along the way. Here is a Grand Sport Frame in the Superformance Paint booth just a few years ago. https://www.facebook.com/ProjectGran...01929814015483
