Default New 40th Anniversary Cobras

40TH ANNIVERSARY COBRA PROGRAM
THE PROGRAM
1) The car commemorates the 40th anniversary of the first Cobra. This special vehicle is limited to 40 units, commemorating the 40th year. The units will be available to the customer either as a fiberglass CSX8000 Street Car or as an aluminum CSX4000 S/C Roadster, depending on customer order preference and the production run will be halted once 40 orders are received.

2) There is expressed interest in this premium priced special car. Initial deposits have been accepted on the first units. With this formal announcement of the program, we believe it will sell out in a three to four month period. The units will be initially priced as indicated below. We expect the prices will increase ratably as the available supply decreases as units are sold. Deliveries can commence in June of this year. $25,000 deposits will be required on the units offered at the initial price. Deposit requirements may increase if the selling price increases.

THE VEHICLE
3) The vehicles in the series are based on standard units, to assure timely delivery based on prior production experience. The units have added features however to distinguish them and additional standard options. They include unique special badging and a unique common color. Whether the customer chooses the Street Car or the 427 Roadster, the units will have similar markings and trim to distinguish them as being part of the special series. The only exception to the common color is a polished aluminum version of the 427 as an addition cost option. Both the Street car and 427 Roadster have similar interiors including glove box and other street car features.

THE PRICING AND COST TO THE END USER
4) The initial MSRP is $74,500 for the Street Car and $87,500 for the Aluminum 427 Roadster. End-user total cost, is estimated as noted below. The vehicle is sold by Shelby American without engine or transmission. Shelby American sells components only, assembled as a complete painted roller, and does not provide drivetrain installation services. Installation of any drivetrain and registration is under the direction of, and the responsibility of, the buyer.

Street Car
Suggested Initial MRSP $74,500
Owner provided Drive Train
Installation Estimate 12,000
Final End User Cost Estimate 86,500

Aluminum 427 Roadster
Suggested Initial MRSP $87,500
Owner provided Drive Train
Installation Estimate 18,000
Final End User Cost Estimate 106,500

5) These vehicles are available through independent dealers selling Shelby American products, and will also be available direct from the factory at the retail price.

6) The above price structure is for the base vehicle, which has many special upgrade features included in the price. Additional options will also be available.

See the Shelby American website WWW.shelbyamerican.com for pictures and complete specifications for the 40th Anniversary models. Prices and detail specifications are subject to change without prior notice.
