Ken Miles was killed at Riverside Raceway while testing the J-Car (GT-40) in 1966, nearly a year after he had stepped out of the Cobra. The Cobra racing program had long since been abandoned at his death.
If it was Dave MacDonald he is referring to, he died at Indy driving a bizarre handling car for Mickey Thompson in 1964.
