Jdog,

Congrats on your Temp Registration. Are you bypassing Sb-100? Good to see you on the road.

Black looks especially good with the "Stone" walls.

SB100 in January!

No Mark, I'll be getting an SB100 number this Jan. Knock-Knock!
Believe it or not, this beauty won't pass non-sb100 regulations.

That engine sure looks better in the car, than on the engine stand!;)

Mark, how's your car running? Good I'll bet!:)

P.S. I'm starting to get a feel for just how much 'attention' you get, driving one of these cars. WOW!

Jdog,
Wait till you experience this next. It can be dangerous at times when people come up driving next to you looking over trying to yell out "is it real" questions or filming with a movie camera on a freeway or four lane road. The scenario is repeatable, and kind of nerverackign at times. The passenger is looking at your car and the driver starts looking to the side at the passenger to see what's going on not realizing and weaving over into your lane and not looking ahead. Before you know it traffic in front of them slows down or stops and they are stopping fast or almost slamming into the person in front of them or worst case weaving right back into your lane trying to avoid the car in front of them. People can get silly sometimes. :JEKYLHYDE

When this happens, just stay looking forward, mash it, and get the hell out of there before they cause an accident.

Jdog,

I can't seem to find the posting with the video in it. Did you put it in another thread?

jdog 11-03-2006 10:15 PM

Didn't turn out!

When Tom went to send me the video, there was only a couple of seconds of footage in his camera. It seems that his battery ran out & he didn't notice with all of the excitment.:(

So there is none of the first start-up.

P.S. How's your car running?:)

kmarccoco 11-06-2006 10:31 PM

really good. i just put a dang 160 thermostat in car and runs better than without one. i was using the dove water tank that had the adjustable flow valve. was not working too well. better now with thermostat.

decooney 11-07-2006 08:19 AM

Ken,
Running a 180 thermo with a steam hole drilled in it is the ticket. Keeping your FE running right at 180 helps on a few different fronts; response, oil flow / no sludge etc. When my car is running at 160 or 170 vs. 180, there is a notable difference. All this time I thought you had a 180 in there. FYI.
