Today?
I think maybe today, Tom will be starting her up for the first time. I stopped by at lunch time and she looked ready to start, to me! The only thing he needed was the correct hose clamps, and they arrived as I was leaving.
Plus, I think I saw Tom checking the moon phase on the calender! Tom has a camera and we will shoot some video as soon as he has determined alls-well. Thanks for the support everyone, I do appreciate it! Today feels right!
If things went well yesterday afternoon, then today is the day. Tom wanted to start & adjust things before I see it running. Yesterday at noon, as I was leaving, he was putting gas in the tank, but he wouldn't start it until I left.
I will know this morning. But I believe all is well!:) He will video the start-up episode, film @ 11:00!:cool: jdog |

I am working on my car here at nights and weekends. Currently aligning the bellhousing. Got lots of little things to work through. ANother couple of months.

Wow, today was a big day for the dog!
Got to hear my car run, although still up on jack stands! It raised the hairs on my arms with excitment! And when I got home I found a package from Las Vegas. It was the visor from my car, that I had sent to Amy, for Carroll's autograph. It says: "To jdog Your friend Carroll Shelby" SOB, how cool is that? Thank you Mr. Shelby & thank you Amy!:cool: jdog P.S. Bill, after today, I know just how you will feel when that cammer fires up in 4786!:cool: I'm excited for you!;) |

How sweet it is!:D My timing today was perfect. I could hear that big FE snarling as I pulled up to the shop this afternoon. What a sweet sound! I had goosebumps even before I walked inside. Your grin when you looked up, was priceless. You're probably still grinning I'll bet. The installation is clean as a whistle. Nice going Tom. Congrats Jdog.
