Of all the flood cars, the Cobra may be among the easiest to refurb.

The amount of work on the engine is unknown until its torn down. If it's a SBF it might be better to just replace it.

Certainly all wiring harness will have to be replaced. There isn't a single waterproof connector on the car. Same for all chassis attached parts like fuse blocks.

Brakes, wheel hubs need to be replaced/refurbed.

Interior including dash is toast as is probably everything behind the dash.

By the time you're done you're replacing/repairing/refurbing everything mechanical. Taking it down to chassis tubes.

And then you're left with tubes that have had water in them, probably sediment.

Of all the things the fiberglass is probably the most immune to water and will wash and clean up debris pretty easily. Observe the paint actually looks in pretty good condition.

And after all that cost, the stigma of a salvage title car is still attached which really hurts sale and subsequent resale.

I can't imagine this being cost effective.
