Default 1 0f 1 Code Named Daisy- the Last Cobra

Had an awesome opportunity to meet the owner Chris Theodore and get some history of the relationship that Carroll Shelby had with Ford and his friends. A few pics from today, more on the good camera later

Thanks for sharing the pics. Did you get a chance to discuss with the owner the actual characteristics of the car - whether it's a fully finished and functional prototype; performance and driving impressions, etc?
Most of us remember when "Daisy" was first shown as a possible production modern day halo car for Ford. There was quite a mixed reaction back then to it's styling and it's role as a fitting heir to the venerable Cobra legacy.

Yes its fully functioning and heading to Mecum. He does not drive it due to the fact that Michigan drivers suck.... If it were to get hit there are no parts for repair. He has driven it some and I am sure back in the day it was driven a little harder than now.
Also has a clean title

Default Is that ugly or what?

Terrible looking car. I can't say anything good about any of it.

Default Sold for twice what he bought it for...

The Ford engineer that thought it up, supervised its building and then supervised the handicaps that would prevent it from being driven was out of Ford by the time Ford sent it to auction, But he scraped together money and bought it and then, after getting it running and enjoying it, sold it.
